Do we store any of the requests throughout API?
Yes but only the API Key and user that called the API. PII (Personal Identifiable Information) about a Veteran is not stored in our system.
How do I get an API Key?
All you have to do is register for an account on our website. Once your account is registered, your API Key will be visible on the documentation pages.
Is your API service free to use?
Yes. we do however limit the requests to 100 API requests a month. “Confirmed” requests are the only requests counted toward your monthly limit. If you need more than 100 requests a month, reach out to us and let us know your requirements. We would be happy to increase the limit at a very reasonable rate.
How do you have access to Veteran Information?
We do not have direct access to Veteran information. Our system uses official Government sources to confirm if a person is a Veteran or not.
